TEDPIX loses 900 points on Tuesday

TEHRAN- TEDPIX, the main index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), lost 939 points to 1.407 million on Tuesday.

As reported, over 6.806 billion securities worth 32.602 trillion rials (about $112.4 million) were traded at the TSE.

The first market’s index dropped 1,214 points, and the second market’s index lost 261 points.

TEDPIX rose 8,000 points to 1.413 million points in the past Iranian calendar week (ended on Friday).

The index had risen 131,000 points (10.21 percent) to 1.414 million points in the Iranian calendar week ended on November 11.

As reported, it was the highest weekly rise during the current Iranian calendar year (began on March 21).
